VOLUNTEERING AT CHHC
Like many nonprofits, the Community of Hope Health Clinic's lifeblood is utilizing volunteers to help run the clinic. As a volunteer students will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience triaging, interpreting, and working in a general volunteer capacity. Once a volunteer has established a consistent pattern of volunteering, they are eligible to gain shadowing opportunities.
Professional volunteers including Nurses, Medical Interpreters, Medical Providers (MDs, DOs, CRNPs, PAs, PTHs, etc.) also will get the opportunity to give back to the community through their expertise. Retired persons are welcome to volunteer as well. There is no previous medical experience necessary.
CHHC also accepts volunteers who wish to volunteer during non-clinical hours. There is plenty to do around the clinic!
